An NGO active in the health sector, researching treatments for diseases.
1. The Service Desk Engineer ensures end-users can make the best use of their equipment and applications. He/she participates in the setup and configuration of network and cloud infrastructure.
2. He/she provides support in case of user requests or operational incidents with IT systems.
3. He/she oversees the setup and maintenance of computers systems (software and hardware).
4. He/she will work under the supervision of Head of IT.
5. He/she will be the backup of the Facility Manager.
6. Bachelor in informatics or same level acquired through experience.
7. Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies:
Windows operating systems, Office, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange...
8. Good understanding of PC networks.
9. Knowledge of Windows server management.
10. Knowledge of computer hardware parts.
11. Experience with IT help desk management systems is an asset.
12. Experience with Microsoft Azure environment is an asset.
13. Passionate in information technology and eager to learn.
14. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
15. Good written & spoken English (Dutch & French are assets).
