Description
* You coordinate both formal and informal discussions at the social level, including works council and union representation, and guide the relevant stakeholders within the organization;
* You build and maintain strong relationships with social partners and closely monitor developments;
* You are responsible for the preparation, negotiation and implementation of company collective bargaining agreements, labor regulations and agreements in collaboration with the Head of Employee & Industrial Relations, the HR team and relevant stakeholders;
* You act as the point of contact for questions regarding socio-legal matters within the organization and proactively offer advice to internal clients, enabling them to make informed decisions, taking into account legal risks;
* You keep a sharp eye on changes in socio-legal legislation and current affairs, provide the necessary documentation and support the HR team in implementing these changes;
* You are partly responsible for discussions with official bodies, such as the social inspectorate and other FPSs;
* You actively participate in (HR) projects where the influence on social consultation or the socio-legal context is of great importance.
Profile
* Has a Master's degree in Law, preferably with a focus on Social Law;
* Has at least 6 years of relevant experience in social law, gained within a law firm or an HR department;
* Has extensive knowledge of Belgian social law, including both individual and collective labor and social security law;
* Has experience in negotiations with social partners and possesses strong powers of persuasion, with the ability to put forward clear and convincing arguments;
* Possesses excellent communication skills that help build trust with social partners and internal stakeholders;
* Has strong analytical and synthetic thinking skills, without losing attention to detail;
* Is solution-oriented, flexible and able to perform under pressure;
* Proficient in Dutch at a high level and also has an active command of both French and English.
