As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating demo and trials products, inventories, and managing transportation to and from Hologic product demonstration and trial events. This position reports directly to the EMEA Logistics Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for delivering capital equipment within the EMEAC region to both internal, as well as external customers. Your excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills will enable you to coordinate deliveries and warehousing seamlessly.
You will play a pivotal role in the customer’s first impression of Hologic products and recognizes areas of continuing improvement.
What To Expect:
1. First point of contact within the EMEAC region for questions and requests, for all Hologic divisions
2. Order entry of orders in Oracle for logistical purposes
3. Create required shipping documents such as Certificate of Origin, ATR, ATA Carnet, legalized documents, shipping invoices and packing lists.
4. Close interaction with logistics providers and comparing quotations.
5. Follow-up of shared mailboxes.
6. Maintaining online demo and trial request tools for marketing purposes.
7. Attending relevant sales, marketing, and medical education meetings.
8. Coordination with regional marketing offices and setting deadlines.
9. Equipment scheduling for best practice.
10. Ordering consumables from third-party suppliers for various activities.
11. Schedule preventive maintenance with Field Service Managers.
12. Initiation and follow-up of transportations to events within the EMEAC region.
13. Coordination with exhibition handling agents regarding labelling, ETA, storage, and handling costs.
14. Occasional presence at congresses and exhibitions are required for on-site handling
15. Initiating and coordinating return activities while considering future orders
16. Exercise logistical control over display-only products, prototypes, and consumables
17. Initiate cycle counts
18. Preparing shipments between various warehouses (incl. third party warehouses)
19. Lead demo process integration projects of new acquisitions with Marketing
20. Mediator for flight case purchases between marketing offices and supplier
21. Monitor and reporting logistical aspects and report out (volume, delays, mistakes, etc..)
22. Lead continuous process improvements, such as developing new and adapting existing SOPs and work instructions
23. Maintain monthly cost reporting and KPI.
