As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and achieving our revenue targets in Benelux. Together with the Managing Director Europe, you define the sales strategy of the country and you make pro-active suggestions based on your market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our clients and reinforcing existing client relationships to ensure long-term success.
2. Leverage your network to achieve significant revenue growth.
3. Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets by driving sustainable financial growth and managing sales budgets effectively.
Business Strategy:
1. Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets that aligns with the company's goals, European strategy, market trends, and customer needs.
2. Develop sales processes and methodologies based on the European Strategy to drive sales effectiveness and productivity.
3. Represent Locala in the Belgian market by identifying key events and media partnerships.
Client Satisfaction:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Market Analysis:
1. Possess an in-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the Europe marketing team to represent Locala effectively in the Belgian market, and with the global product and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving the company's objectives.
2. Ensure customer feedback is integrated into product evolution and service enhancements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* 10+ years of sales experience in digital/mobile advertising sales with a proven track record of success in senior sales roles.
* A high network of contacts in Benelux media agencies.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating sales teams.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to deal with change and be a team player.
* Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
