I am looking for a Group Controller for one of my clients.

The profile sought
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and optimize monthly performance, forecasting, and budgeting processes at both local and HQ levels.
• Consolidate financial data within Belgium and collaborate with the Netherlands.
• Manage financial planning, including rolling reforecast and 5-year business plan (P&L, CAPEX, CASH).
• Improve forecasting and budgeting processes within the organization.
• Ensure timely and high-quality reporting with proper governance for action follow-ups.
• Regular alignment with Accounting to streamline monthly reporting and resolve bottlenecks.
• Participate in business reviews with the Finance Director to monitor performance management by region.
• Develop and track benchmarks and strategic matters in consultation with the Finance Director.
• Collaborate with the Treasurer BNLX on forecasting and promote cash and working capital management.
• Prepare an annual improvement plan, including an AO/IC matrix, and drive process optimization and automation.
• Work closely with Data & Analytics for process and performance improvements.
• Coordinate risk management and financial compliance with the Internal Auditor and Senior Controllers.
• Ensure a monitoring system that guarantees external financial compliance (banks, real estate).
• Strengthen the Finance organization through structured processes and strategic reflection.
• Analyze business and financial investments in alignment with other HQ departments.
Profile:
• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and controlling.
• Experience in team management.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; English is also required.
• Experience with ERP (Oracle), Excel, BI, and Purchase to Pay.
• Strong communication skills and a true team player.
• Service-minded, proactive, and independent.
• Strong analytical skills with a helicopter view.
