Packs EMEA (Eastpak, JanSport and Kipling) is looking for an exceptional Specialist, Brand Visual Merchandising to join our Visual Merchandising team within the sales organization based in Antwerp, Belgium. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the Brands future in the VM space.
Let’s talk about the role!
In this role you will be responsible for developing guidelines, windows, and 4 wall marketing tools for Retail and Wholesale channels, with a focus on owned, partnership stores and shop in shop. This role requires a strong understanding of retail and visual merchandising dynamics. The objectives of this role are to drive traffic and increase conversion and sell-through across both Retail and Wholesale channels.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
1. Translating the different brand toolkits into retail guidelines, VM strategies, window execution, and 4 wall marketing programs in close collaboration with the brand teams and global peers to fulfill EMEA needs, ensure global consistency, and local relevancy.
2. Implementing VM guidelines for all brands, and distributing VM guidelines, windows, and 4 wall marketing programs based on business-driven data (capacity/density/productivity analysis) to drive store traffic, conversion, and sell-through.
3. Developing clear staff training programs to empower Own and Partner Stores staff to execute VM guidelines and directives, in collaboration with Retail Operations department and Field Teams.
4. Supporting Global Packs Org sell-in moments – creating the VM plans for sales previews and showroom setups.
Role Overview
Showrooms:
Based on the seasonal guidelines from brand marketing, you will devise the seasonal showroom layout plan across markets, based on merchandising concepts provided by brands, to inspire the sell-in and highlight key initiatives and storytelling.
Understand the different market/country needs to be able to adapt selling spaces to reflect such needs whilst maintaining brand consistency.
Create the assets and materials for seasonal showroom updates.
Retail Support:
Work closely with the sales leads and the local marketing managers (if present) to support retail activations and in-store presence.
Accountable for DTC/retail touchpoints (Owned and operated, concessions, shop in shop, mall, pop-up).
Accountable to manage the installation/execution.
Support effectively any brand presence at tradeshows, ensuring high levels of product presentation and fixture dressing.
Skills for Success
As an ideal candidate, you are:
1. 3-5 years of experience in the same role
2. Proven competence and experience in the following areas:
3. 2D graphic software with Adobe suite E.g. Illustrator, Photoshop
4. 3D graphic software E.g. Cinema 4D, Rhino, Maya, KeyShot
5. Experience in creating print files and knowledge of shop materials
6. Organized and curious with a make-it-happen mentality
7. A strong communicator; negotiations don’t scare you, they rather give you energy
8. Aware and passionate about the world of apparel (fashion) and its specific challenges
9. Brand conscious; purpose drives you in everything you do
10. Energetic and a real team player with an omnichannel mentality ready to join a highly motivated team
