Science & Innovation Advisory Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Science & Innovation Advisory Project Manager to join our dynamic, international Science and Innovation team. As a key player within our organization, you will report directly to the Director of the Scientific Excellence Platform and contribute significantly to transforming scientific data into actionable innovation opportunities. In this role, you will manage and lead science and innovation projects within our global client network across food, consumer health care (CHC), and related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Manage Science Innovation Projects: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives and organizational goals.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with global teams, collaborating across functions and geographies to deliver high-quality results and achieve project milestones.
* Team Organization & Coordination: Efficiently manage workflows and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery while meeting both quality and scope requirements.
* Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality control on all project deliverables, ensuring that outcomes meet the highest industry standards.
* Monitor Project Progress: Track milestones, develop comprehensive reports, and present results to both internal and external stakeholders, including live and virtual presentations.
* Foster Innovation Culture: Promote a culture of innovation by providing expert guidance, thought leadership, and support for R&D initiatives across the organization.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in innovation, R&D, or related fields. Experience within the Food Science, Technology, Ingredients, Consumer Health Care (CHC), or Consulting sectors is highly preferred.
* Expertise in ingredient, product, and technology scouting and landscaping.
* Proven experience in integrating scientific evidence and consumer insights to drive innovation.
* Proficient in moderating and facilitating innovation workshops.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in food/food supplements and/or consumer health care is a significant advantage.
* Education: A degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Food Technology) is required; a PhD is highly desirable.
* Languages: Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in French is highly valued.
* Skills:
* Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects.
* Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to translate scientific data into practical, innovative strategies and solutions.
* Exceptional prioritization skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
* Experience in managing and leading diverse, high-performing teams across multiple regions and cultures.
