Role overview
Are you an experienced Scrum Master with a passion for Agile and Scrum? Join us as a Scrum Master, where you will play a crucial role in guiding our teams through the transition from classical delivery methodologies to Agile. This role is ideal for a Scrum Master ready to foster a culture of high-performing teams, continuous improvement, and relentless commitment to value delivery.
Key responsibilities
Leadership and Coaching:
Act as a servant leader, guiding Agile team(s) through their transformation journey
Develop the Agile team's way of working across empowerment, transparency, collaboration, and discipline
Team Evolution: Support Agile team(s) in evolving into high-performing entities, fostering self-organization, collaboration, continuous flow, and relentless improvement
Facilitation and Support:
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, events, and artifacts
Support Product Owners in effective product and backlog management
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile teams to establish clear goals, priorities, and a shared understanding of requirements
Obstacle Removal:
Identify and proactively remove obstacles and impediments for Agile team(s)
Assist in conflict resolution and ensure smooth workflow
Best Practices and Quality Standards:
Drive the adoption of best practices, metrics, and quality standards
Optimize team performance through data-driven decision-making
Representation:
Represent Agile team(s) in Scrum of Scrums and other relevant meetings
Engage with the Agile community and leadership
Change Management:
Act as a change agent, ensuring the organization understands the benefits of Agile methodologies
Model and enable Agile behaviors
Project Management:
Support identification of project needs, including resources, team members, and involvement of other departments
Manage dependencies
Your profile
Qualifications:
Scrum Master certification required
University degree in IT, Finance, or a relevant field
Experience:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum delivery context in the information technology and/or Finance sector
Experience with Temenos Core Banking software (e.g., Temenos Transact (T24) and/or TAP) is considered an advantage
Strong understanding of the software lifecycle and its operational management
Extended experience in Agile delivery methodology, stakeholder management, training, and workshop facilitation
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and other common Agile collaboration tools
Soft Skills:
Strong team player with leadership skills, self-driven, and capable of working independently
Excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills
High level of empathy, social interaction, and cross-cultural mindset
Self-motivated with a willingness to drive initiatives and bring in new ideas
Comfortable with driving and managing change
Languages:
Excellent English language skills are required
German/French or any additional language skills are considered an advantage
