The Strategy team at KPMG Belgium is currently seeking to expand and build on its current strategy development and commercial experience. You will be part of a team that advises executive clients in addressing key strategic issues and help them by providing insights and answers on how to position themselves in the market and assist them in what it takes to be successful. You will need to be able to create content and deliverables in line with the engagement and client needs (The quality of those deliverables through verification and validation of results will be a key aspect).
As a Manager in the Strategy team you will perform the following tasks:
4. Working closely with C-suite executives from many industries including Lifesciences and Consumer/Retail, to navigate complex strategy engagements, solve enterprise-wide strategic, organisational and operational issues and identify growth opportunities;
5. Lead clients’ engagements and support them in determining their strategies and developing frameworks to the correct initiatives and projects to execute according to their needs;
6. Managing the clients’ engagements from start to finish, including setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creating and coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with presentation of results;
7. You will also pay a pivotal role in driving and developing the team’s business development activities, supporting its growth and the expansion of its service offerings;
8. Manage and mentor junior staff throughout the project lifecycle, providing feedback and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications
You have successfully obtained a Masters degree and have a minimum of five years work experience at a consulting firm with a focus on strategy (Strategy definition, transformation management, strategic portfolio management, etc.) in the Lifesciences or Commercial/Retail sectors. Apart from a strong technical basis we are looking for people who have the following qualifications, expertise, and skills:
9. Proven experience in (large) Strategic and Performance Transformations;
10. Excellent project management and business development skills;
11. In-depth knowledge and experience in Lifesciences or Commercial/Retail industries;
12. Knowledge and experience with design thinking and strategic design consulting;
13. Experience in leading a diverse team and managing complex projects;
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions;
15. Ability to perform and deliver consistently against tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail;
16. You are clear and concise in your communication skills, and able to engage effectively with both clients and team members, and have strong presentation skills;
17. Fluent in French and/or Dutch and English.
