Procurement Role
This Procurement Officer position involves managing purchasing activities, negotiating contracts, building supplier relationships, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective supplies while maintaining accurate records and overseeing budget estimates and invoice approvals.
Responsibilities:
* Negotiate pricing and supply contracts;
* Build and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers;
* Collaborate with global team members to complete duties as needed;
* Estimate and establish budgets for purchases;
* Makes professional decisions in a fast-paced environment;
* Review all vendors and suppliers;
* Maintain purchase records and other important data;
* Develop plans for purchasing services and supplies;
* Approve invoices.
Requirements
* A degree in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant field;
* 2-3 years experience as Procurement Officer for a Ground Handling Agreement;
* Fluent in French and English;
* Knowledge of the freight and airline industries;
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting;
* Strong contract negotiation skills;
* Goal-driven, organized, multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities;
* Meticulous attention to detail.
