What you'll do:
1. Lead a team of 10 - 13 Geospatial Data Engineers
2. Be responsible for performance management and helping your team members with their career growth
3. Work with a group of map experts (specialized in their distinct map feature sets) responsible for a variety of map features
4. Drive execution to ensure we meet our timelines
5. Drive operational excellence and be responsible for improving on our metrics
6. Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, Senior Manager, and Staff Engineers on requirements and priorities
7. Represent the Map Experts team in internal cross-team initiatives and external customer engagements
What you'll need:
8. 5 or more years of experience in a management role
9. Knowledge of Geospatial Tools and techniques
10. Able to analyze data using appropriate methods, interpret results, and draw meaningful insights to support decision-making
11. Possess moderate ability to process and analyze data, using statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns, and create more advanced visualizations to communicate insights
12. Exceptional mastery of verbal and written communication, the ability to inspire, motivate, and connect deeply with others, and the skill to resolve conflicts and facilitate meaningful dialogue.
13. Passion for people management and coaching
14. Willingness to own your work end-to-end and embrace other aspects of our Leadership Foundation
15. You should be comfortable working as a part of a geographically distributed team that prefers writing over virtual meetings
16. Ability to write and speak English clearly and concisely

17. Experience handling high uncertainty of product requirements
