As a Lifting Engineer at DEME Offshore, you will join a core team of specialists who focus on the preparation, execution and standardization of (heavy) lift operations within the company. You will collaborate with tender and project teams by providing engineering support, including critical review of relevant documentation, design of rigging systems and sharing of your knowledge and expertise with regards to their lifting scopes. You will contribute to the development of in-house calculation tools and the DEME-specific lifting standards and procedures.
This position is based at our Headquarters in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.

QHSE is therefore one of the supportive departments that is involved in all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental matters on our projects, vessels, and in HQ. As a Project QHSE Officer you will be part of the team that is on site on one of our offshore projects worldwide, responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.
