Purpose of the position
Assist scheduling in processing transportation orders while adhering to company quality standards and specific customer requirements.
Function
1. Careful processing of administrative data, claims, waiting hours, work hours, ETA, etc.;
2. In consultation with planning and according to the booked order references and assignments to the drivers or subcontractors;
3. Through good oral and written communication, keep colleagues internal/external as well as drivers informed of any adjustments/problems;
4. After thorough training, you will gain insight and responsibility to make operational decisions independently.
Profile
1. Education: preferably enjoyed a logistics and/or administrative education;
2. Administrative and communication strong - attention to detail/accuracy;
3. Language skills: very good knowledge of Dutch and English, knowledge of French is an asset;
4. Fluent use of MS Office;
5. You are willing to work shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. / to 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. We are also open to school leavers and/or internal vocational training.
