As a CDMO Sales Manager, you are responsible for managing and driving sales activities on an international scale. This will involve close and successful working relationships with customers and internally with field sales, scientific support, commercial operations, marketing, and the lab operations teams.
Responsibilities
* You Drive sales activities within to grow the Trasis CDMO services business, including radiopharmaceuticals and/or ingredients (active pharmaceutical ingredients and sterile drug products).
* You consistently meet or exceed your assigned target.
* You develop and execute a territory plan that includes prioritized goals; analyze data to identify viable opportunities; coordinate and utilize available resources.
* You take lead role in mobilizing resources in support of customer needs; use resources in a smart and impactful way; dig beneath surface and seek resources that address the core of an issue; align with others in overlapping territories; collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional partners to advance programs and initiatives.
* You develop and manage target key accounts to produce long term, consistent, revenue growth.
* You are responsible for understanding customer’s current and emerging needs, providing trends and observations to leadership for market evaluation.
* You support preparation of market, industry, and competitive analyses through voice of customer and voice of sales; support development and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and emerging programs.
* You plan, prepare and execute customer engagements and call planning.
* You coordinate with marketing team to recommend and support marketing strategies and to provide guidance/direction in external marketing communications (tradeshows, email, etc.).
* You participate in relevant trade shows, industry days, and develop seminars/workshops to stay abreast of customer strategies, goals, and objectives and understand the competition.
* You develop territory plans and run execution with highest levels of accountability.
* You perform quarterly business review meetings with commercial leadership.
Profile
* You have a Masters or advanced degree in Life Sciences with a focus on and/or degree in organic chemistry or related field. An MBA is a plus.
* You have 5-10 years of experience in working in a direct-sales and/or sales technical support role with extramural or complex teams required.
* You are Fluent in English and French; other language is a plus.
* You are an expert experience in leading and completing commercial contracts with universities, research institutes, or commercial companies required.
* You have experience working with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to manage and implement complex partnerships.
* You have demonstrated ability to lead sales situations within complex and non-linear environments.
* You have experience in active prospecting using platforms e.g., LinkedIn, Global Data, etc.
* You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
* You have excellent analytical skills and are able to synthetize data into insughtful information.
* You are able to own and manage multiple accounts and meet sales forecasts.
* Entrepreneurial by nature, self-sufficient and a great team player as well.
* You must be willing and able to travel 50-60% of your time in designated region.
