Come lead the change at Winamp! We're searching for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to drive our commercial and creator acquisition strategy, fueling the future of the music industry.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a sales, acquisition, account management and growth team that drives business across all customer segments and profiles, namely:
o Winamp for Creators and Bridger (creator acquisition and growth)
+ Manage a team of local sales people in different countries (Europe and US)
o Jamendo Licensing
o Hotmixradio (liaising with our ad network partners to optimize and increase ad revenue generation)
* Monitor the market and analyze opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics.
* Continuous improvement of a growth solution in terms of database size, segmentation, and qualification of leads.
* Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.
* Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals.
* Collaborate with Operations to improve client satisfaction rates and retention, and reduce churn.
* Represent us in key industry events.
* Take the lead in negotiating strategic partnerships with industry players of all sizes.
Profile:
* 10 years' sales & revenue generation experience with 5+ years in leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth at the international level.
* Proven track record of growing revenue in the music/entertainment/tech industry.
* Ability to craft and execute a comprehensive revenue generation strategy.
* Ability to manage an acquisition funnel.
* Knowledge of growth strategies.
* Data analysis, history of decision-making based on business metrics, ability to present them to leadership.
* Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach.
* Able to travel globally.
* Startup mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
* Real ability to think outside the box and come up with disruptive ideas.
* Strong negotiation skills, even with larger industry players.
* Fluent in English, French and any other European languages will be a plus.
