Job Description:
Quality & Food Safety Specialist
As Quality & Food Safety Specialistat Mars, you will maintain, design and improve the site quality management system to comply with the Mars Global Quality Standards.
What are we looking for?
1. Bachelor’s degree Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
2. Ideally, experience in a food manufacturing environment working in quality, food safety, engineering and/or product/process development
3. Dutch Language proficiency (oral and written)
What will be your key responsibilities?
4. Assisting to develop and implement technical and procedural control measures in relation to the Mars Global Quality Standards
5. Assuring non-conforming product inventory management through monitoring of SAP transactions
6. Developing and updating all paperwork/systems to be complaint to global standards
7. Assisting the quality and food safety team during new product launches and significant process and recipe changes whilst performing conformance checks
8. Execution of improvement projects, and factory support in case of deviations
