Sabam, the Belgian association for authors, composers, and publishers, is looking for a driven Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. With a mission centered on ‘connecting creation to value,’ Sabam manages the rights of over 43,000 members across five domains: music, film & television, theater & dance, visual arts, and literature. In 2020, Sabam distributed more than €112 million in royalties and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. As an Infrastructure Engineer at Sabam, you will be part of a team of 4 people. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of a secure, stable IT infrastructure. Specifically, your tasks will include:
* Design and Implementation: You are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a secure and stable IT infrastructure for systems, networks, databases, and cloud components (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, IaC).
* Recovery Procedures: You develop and maintain recovery procedures for databases and application servers, including performance and capacity analyses, to minimize data loss and downtime.
* DevOps Collaboration: You work in a DevOps environment and coordinate with teams to ensure security requirements, set up monitoring and alerting, and provide L2/L3 support.
* Resource Management: You manage resources and make technical decisions in emergencies to ensure business continuity.
* Internal Work Relationships: You maintain close working relationships with IT, data, BT, and Project Managers PMO to optimize collaboration and communication.
* External Work Relationships: You collaborate with consultants and external providers to ensure the best solutions and support.
Profile description
* Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
* At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
* Broad knowledge of networks, systems, security, virtualization, and cloud technologies (Azure).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in implementing innovative improvements that optimize the performance, stability, and security of the infrastructure.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Flexible availability, with a willingness to be on standby occasionally or perform weekend updates.
* Language proficiency in FR or NL (basic knowledge of the second language) and English is a must.
