The Role : As a Software Renewal Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless renewal of software maintenance and subscription contracts. You will be directly responsible for managing renewals, interacting with clients and partners globally, and identifying opportunities to upsell software solutions. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this dynamic role combines customer service, negotiation, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities : In your role as Software Renewal Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing software maintenance and subscription contract renewals across global markets for both direct customers and indirect channels via resellers. Driving the renewal process from forecasting to deal closure while ensuring renewals are completed ahead of deadlines. Coordinating with sales engineers and uncovering opportunities for upselling software licenses. Collaborating on designing and implementing process automation to increase renewal efficiency. Maintaining accurate and up to date information in the CRM system to facilitate forecasting, order management, and reporting. Ensuring all license and digital contract records are precise and well organized. Achieving or exceeding customer renewal revenue and retention targets. Delivering exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and maintaining professional communication with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Building strong working relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues to foster trust and collaboration. Documenting, updating, and improving the renewal process for both direct and indirect channels. Your Profile : As a Software Renewal Specialist, your profile is described as follows: Proven experience in managing software renewals or in a customer service role within the IT/software industry. Proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce. Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French or additional languages is an asset. A customer oriented mindset with a strong focus on sales and service excellence. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint. Experience with process automation in renewals is a plus. Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage workloads and priorities independently.
