Your profile
The Finance Manager Belgium will report to the Chief Financial Officer of the Ardo Group. He/she will lead the Belgian finance team, consisting of about 20 people spread over the three production plants in West Flanders, two of which are the largest in the group.
The aim of the Finance Manager Belgium is to further shape and optimize the financial organization of the Belgian entity. He/she will be responsible for delivering timely and qualitative financial figures to the company’s management. Additionally, the Finance Manager will provide meaningful insights into the evolution of the company’s results and balance sheet, as well as relevant cash forecasting figures. Ensuring compliance with Group financial policies and local laws will also be a key part of this role.
The Finance Manager Belgium plays a crucial contribution in this effort, overseeing the financial performance of the entities that have a material impact on Ardo Group’s annual turnover. The Finance Manager is not only financially responsible for the Belgian companies, but also for all group companies located in Belgium and (smaller) sales offices of foreign countries. The Finance Manager Belgium is also part of the Financial Leadership Team and will thus be involved in projects at the group level.
What are we looking for?
1. A Master’s degree in a relevant subject is required (f.e. commercial engineering, finance, economics, accountancy).
2. Excellent command of Dutch, French and English is required, both written and orally.
3. Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in managerial finance roles within production environments.
4. Functions today at a managerial finance level in a multinational context as a Finance Manager.
5. Possesses a full set of functional financial qualities, including accounting and controlling.
6. Has in-depth experience with leading (finance) teams across different plants.
7. Has in-depth experience with plant controlling.
8. Has in-depth experience with reporting to a group structure.
9. Experience in the food- or consumer-goods industry is a strong plus.
10. Experience with different ERP/IT-systems and management information systems is a strong plus.
11. Personality is decisive: a natural leader with entrepreneurial drive and a hands-on implementation attitude who doesn’t shy away from a challenge.
