About EASPD The European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) is the European not for profit organisation representing over 20,000 social (support) service providers in 41 European countries. EASPDs mission is to promote equal opportunities for persons with disabilities through effective and high quality support systems across Europe, in line with the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Our members are active in a wide range of activities, in particular in care and support services, employment, education and training, early childhood intervention, arts and culture, technology and other areas. Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Head of Knowledge and Innovation willing to take on this challenge. The position will involve managing a team of Knowledge and Innovation Officers (3 people) to help achieve EASPDs mission. The Head of Knowledge and Innovation will support their growth and development within the organisation and the sector. Another significant part of the position is to build relations with members, as well as external partners from international institutions, academics, training providers and other stakeholders. In addition to this, the Head of Knowledge and Innovation will lead, guide and support the implementation of EU funded projects, as well as identify funding opportunities. They will work directly under the supervision of and report to EASPDs Secretary General. Main Tasks Be an active member of EASPDs Management team, focusing on the overall health, growth and sustainability of the organisation. Lead and manage EASPDs Knowledge & Innovation team, including setting objectives and professional development. Coordinate and develop the implementation of EASPDs Knowledge and Innovation objectives, programmes, and activities. Identify funding opportunities to enhance Knowledge and Innovation activities at EASPD. Represent EASPD externally and build partnerships with existing and new stakeholders. Other tasks such as events organisation, project management and administrative tasks. Minimum Requirements Proven ability to work collaboratively with a friendly, constructive and open minded attitude. Understanding of knowledge gaps and innovation in support services for persons with disabilities. Experience in management, coaching, or mentorship. Experience in communication, marketing, or related fields. At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant position. Experience in networking and building partnerships with external stakeholders. Fluency in English, both oral and written. Ability to work independently with attention to detail. Capacity to work in a team and engage with different stakeholders. Strong organisation and time management skills. Good command of MS Office and videoconferencing tools. Knowledge of project manageme
