KPMG EU-Office (based in Brussels - Place du Luxembourg) is hiring a Director, Sales for the EU Institutions Account.
The role will be at the heart of KPMG’s ambition to grow its strategic footprint with the EU institutions in Brussels. They will have a fine grasp on the agenda, growth potential and consultancy opportunities in support of the EU institutions. Realising the full potential of our client relationships, external partners, and internal expertise to secure a successful go-to-market with the EU institutions.
Leading strategic growth and harnessing the network
1. Provide strategic advice to the EU Institutions Global Lead Partner and the EU Heads of Market on the business development plan and overall account strategy;
2. Identify leads and opportunities by working in close partnership with any EU institution to build a strategic sales pipeline for individual sectors (Client Service Teams);
3. Create an ecosystem of potential alliance partners in which KPMG is best placed for trustful and strong consortia in strategic opportunities, particularly on framework contracts;
4. Forge sales and proposal teams in which different member firms of KPMG across EMA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) cooperate in coalitions that go to market as One KPMG;
5. Together with experts from member firms, you will build customer relationships via events and marketing campaigns showcasing KPMG’s capability and providing visibility in the market.
The role requires to be present with clients and in the EU Office about 50% of the time.

Skills & Qualifications
6. Hold an academic degree in ICT, Economics, Law, Engineering, or related. Qualifications related to EU studies will be considered as an asset;
7. Deep experience (10+ years) with EU institutions, particularly the EU Commission, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development or the European Investment Bank;
8. A consultant at heart and your professional career can attest to your understanding of a multinational consultancy practice such as KPMG or similar;
9. Ability to demonstrate expertise in working across different nationalities and legal entities, relying on lateral leadership to join different interests;
10. Have won framework contracts or large contracts with the EU institutions or similar Government / Public Sector bodies;
11. Have a track record in acquiring new clients and bolstering business with existing clients, finding the right language, alliance partners and sales strategy for a particular customer;
12. Fluency in English is required, while French, Spanish or German aid your relationship building internally or externally;
