As our Community & Tenant Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of Coloc Housing, ensuring tenants feel welcomed, supported, and engaged. Your role is all about people, problem-solving, and positivity. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: 1. Welcome & Support Tenants Be the friendly face that greets new tenants and helps them feel at home from day one. Make move-ins smooth, ensuring tenants have all the information they need. Support departing tenants with their move-out and assist in finding replacements. 2. Build an Engaging Community Organize fun social events (think game nights, BBQs, yoga mornings) to foster connections. Act as the main point of contact for tenants, keeping the vibe positive and open. Oversee Coloc Buddy elections and help these tenant reps build engagement in their homes. Listen to tenant feedback and implement ideas to make coliving even better 3. Keep Things Running Smoothly Ensure timely rent payments and maintain clear financial records. Mediate conflicts between tenants with fairness and diplomacy. Work on sustainability projects and suggest facility improvements. Create useful content (Help Center articles, videos) to make living in a Coloc Housing space easier and more enjoyable. 4. Marketing & Retention Use social media to promote available rooms and showcase the Coloc lifestyle. Implement strategies to retain tenants, making them love where they live. Get creative with fun initiatives that make coliving exciting Who You Are Bubbly, warm, and people-focused – You’re the kind of person who makes people feel at home instantly. Energetic and proactive – You don’t wait for things to happen; you make them happen. Fluent in Dutch & English – Communication is key in our diverse tenant community. Tech-savvy – Comfortable using Mac, Microsoft, and digital tools. Organized & detail-oriented – You love keeping things structured while juggling multiple tasks.
