As Head of Advertising, you’ll oversee and develop this area of expertise at Universem under the direction of the company’s founder & CEO. You’ll ensure a high level of knowledge in your field, fostering its growth and promoting it internally and externally. You’ll stay ahead of trends, identify opportunities, and adapt to changes in your area of expertise. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, managing, and optimizing advertising campaigns for strategic clients on platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and more, working as a Senior Consultant alongside other consultants.
Responsibilities
As Head of Advertising:
* Actively monitor trends in your field of expertise and implement the most relevant ideas for Universem, its employees, and clients.
* Propose creative solutions to transform client needs into profitable and sustainable strategies.
* Share regular “trend updates” with clients and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other Heads of expertise (SEO & Data), pooling resources and creating integrated solutions to meet client needs by combining SEA, SEO, and data expertise.
* Contribute to offer creation and defense, identify cross-sell opportunities, and regularly update commercial tools (sales pitches, deliverables, etc.).
* Support marketing efforts by providing insights and contributing to content creation (articles, news, etc.).
* Represent the agency as an expert in external settings (webinars, conferences, etc.).
* Mentor and support consultants in their professional development and ensure the quality of deliverables.
* Develop reference documents for your expertise, adapt deliverables, design training materials, and implement efficient routines.
* Participate in technical interviews for new hires.
As a Senior Consultant:
* Design, implement, and manage digital campaigns (Google Ads, social media, programmatic, native ads, DOOH, digital audio…).
* Track and evaluate relevant KPIs during campaigns.
* Proactively improve campaigns (targeting, visuals, etc.) through optimization and A/B testing.
* Analyze campaign ROI, enhance results, and prepare performance reports.
* Ensure proper project management and coordination.
* Maintain direct and indirect communication with clients, advising them and keeping them informed about project progress.
* Ensure client satisfaction by meeting their needs and expectations.
* Advise clients on relevant market trends or developments to improve their online presence.
Profile
* You hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, E-Business, Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* You have at least 7 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years specializing in SEA & Online Ads.
* You are highly skilled in Google Ads, Meta (Facebook Business Manager), and other advertising platforms. Knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and/or Google Looker Studio is a plus.
* You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good command of English.
* You have excellent communication skills and can convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
* You are a team player, pragmatic, and focused on finding effective solutions tailored to specific contexts and constraints.
* You are creative, analytical, and passionate about advertising.
* You have strong organizational and analytical skills.
