Job description
As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for :
Software#39;s Applications Management
Installation and Configuration: Deployment of servers, software, and operating systems, as well as configuring networks and peripherals to ensure an optimal environment.
Maintenance and Updates: Applying security patches, updating software, and managing regular backups to ensure service continuity.
System Security: Protecting the infrastructure by configuring firewalls, implementing security policies, and monitoring for suspicious activities.
User and Access Management: Creating and administering user accounts, assigning access rights, and ensuring data confidentiality.
Monitoring and Support: Supervising system performance, identifying, and resolving technical issues to provide a seamless and responsive service.
Documentation and Best Practices: Writing and updating procedures, configurations, and guides to ensure efficient and sustainable system management.
Criteria
We are hiring an experienced IT Coordinator to strengthen the IT department of our client based in Halle. If you are passionate about IT infrastructure, enjoy solving problems with agility, and have an excellent sense of service, this opportunity is made for you! What we are looking for:
Degree in Computer Science (Bachelor#39;s minimum) or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Bilingual French/Dutch, English is a plus
Strong expertise in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, systems)
Experience with Cloud solutions such as Azure Directory
Excellent knowledge of Windows servers and Microsoft 365
Experience in IT project management and solution deployment
Solid knowledge of Linux, firewalls, and Fortigate
Skills in website creation (WordPress, etc.)
Autonomous, proactive, and equipped with excellent communication skills, you enjoy supporting and advising your colleagues with kindness
Offer
Full-time employee contract (no freelance)
Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM with a 30-minute flexibility (e.g., 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM), and Fridays until 3 PM
30 days of leave (20 + 6 RTT + company closure between Christmas and New Year)
1 day/week remote work after a 3-month training period
Salary based on experience
