We’re looking for a Programme Manager Europe, to reinforce the team in our Brussels / Noordwijk!
As a Programme Manager Europe you will be responsible for delivery oversight of several Digital projects. PM will be responsible for the identification, planning and coordination of a set of digital technology projects. PM will have an overview of the digital projects' life cycle process and leading teams in translating business requirements into functioning solutions.
The successful candidate should have previous experience in digital transformation projects in a complex matrix environment.
This role will deal with various stakeholders and require strong leadership and communication skills. Furthermore, the candidate should be structured, have a sound PM tool and methodology understanding and be able to lead a diverse, virtual team.
Main Responsibilities

5. Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
6. Ensure alignment of program objectives with the company's strategic goals.
7. Lead and mentor a small team of project managers by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
8. Monitor program progress of the ongoing projects activities, identify inter-dependencies as well as potential issues, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
9. Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members.
10. Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities effectively and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
11. Identify potential risks and issues related to program delivery and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
12. Develop contingency plans to address unexpected challenges and ensure the program's success.
13. Ensure budget compliance and secure additional resources when necessary.
Successful Candidate
Requirements:
14. Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in similar function.
15. Proven experience with large scale digitalization programs.
16. Practical experience with methodologies such as Prince 2, ITIL.
17. Must be detail oriented, analytical, and demonstrate ability to work in complex international matrix environments.
18. Practical experience of working in virtual teams as well as with onshore and nearshore resources.
19. Working experience with an EU client or other public institution is an added value.
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
21. Experience with collaborating with developers, clients, other business analysts, Solution Architects.
22. Languages: English (mandatory) and second language (French/German/Italian).
