Job Description
We are seeking a Regional Product Expert to join our team based in our office in Leuven as a go-to expert for all internal and external technical enquiries related to assigned platforms. This role requires strong customer engagement, an understanding of diverse challenges, and the delivery of innovative solutions across regions and cultures.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and our internal departments: service, sales, and global solutions.
2. Provide technical support and solutions to our service organisation.
3. Assist in offer clarifications, spare parts needs, and service time estimations.
4. Deliver technical support, remote service and phone consultations for both customers and internal field service engineers.
5. Conduct technical training sessions and help develop training materials and documentation.
6. Manage customer escalations, ensuring structured resolution of issues
7. Support new product integration, ensuring field services engineers are prepared for product launches.
8. Oversee and organise the timely resolution of support cases.
9. Promote a safety-first culture within the team, company, and customer sites.
10. Allocate time as follows: 20% customer visits, 40% desk support, 20% process and platform improvement, and 20% training.
Qualifications
About You:
11. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
12. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
13. Effective team player with leadership skills.
14. Strong organisational abilities, with capacity for delegation tasks and clear direction.
15. Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
16. Strong communication and facilitation skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly.
17. Ability to understand and relate to customers perspectives across different cultures and regions.
