Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance .NET Developer to join our team for a key project with our client in the insurance sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in migrating our existing applications from .NET 6 to .NET 8 and providing ongoing support and development for various supporting applications. This position requires a strong proficiency in .NET, Angular, and Azure, as well as fluency in French.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Migration Project:
2. Lead the migration of applications from .NET 6 to .NET 8.
3. Ensure smooth transition with minimal downtime and disruption.
4. Optimize code and improve performance during the migration process.
5. Application Development & Support:
6. Develop, maintain, and support various applications integral to the client's operations.
7. Collaborate with the team to design, code, test, and implement new features and enhancements.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
9. Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
10. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
11. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
2. Proven experience in .NET development, specifically with .NET 6 and .NET 8.
3. Strong knowledge of Angular for front-end development.
4. Expertise in Microsoft Azure for cloud-based solutions.
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
6. Professional Experience:
7. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
8. Demonstrated experience in migration projects and application support.
9. Soft Skills:
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Fluency in French is mandatory.
