The Opportunity
EY Belgium Modern Data Platform team supports our clients in defining and rolling out the right data architecture, data platform and infrastructure that support their needs, implement and maintain automated data pipelines, and infuse data through business intelligence and analytics. We are currently looking for capable and motivated professionals to join our team as Data Architect.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Architect, you will support the clients in their journey to become data driven, by capturing and understanding their business needs, and defining and implementing Data and Analytics reference architectures, solutions and roadmaps. Furthermore, you will actively help our practice in its objective to stay a Leader in Data & Analytics.
1. Define, guide and advise clients in developing data strategies
2. Engage with the clients to understand their business needs, pain points and realities
3. Gather, challenge and prioritize clients data requirements
4. Define and design innovative Data & Analytics architectures and solutions that leverage the right trade off between clients realities, latest and disruptive technologies, current and future business needs, budget constraints, data availability and resource requirements.
5. Oversee the design of the data architecture and the technical architecture for the old fashion and modern data platforms, including data acquisition and integration, data modelling, transformation and quality processes, master data management, data warehousing and data marts, data lakehouse, data fabric and data mesh.
6. Design conceptual, logical and/or physical data models and repositories, as well as data ontologies.
