Job description This position will analyze performance of Service Desk activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems. It will also manage the processing of incoming requests to the Service Desk to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues. The position is accountable for helping business users adopt Microsoft365, including the Power Platform, and other technologies to improve productivity. Profil Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, or equivalent work experience •Experience in a manufacturing business environment a plus Communication Skills: •Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in French and English required •Strong interpersonal skills, including good listening skills, that allow working with users of different personalities and system experience levels Technical Requirements: •Knowledge of installing hardware components for end user devices •Working technical and troubleshooting knowledge of end user devices and printer hardware, software, protocols, and operating environments including back-up procedures. •Knowledge of end user device image processes •Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 and higher •Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Power Platform •Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune •Ability to assist in supporting mobile computing devices using management software such as Airwatch/WorkspaceONE or Intune •Knowledge of conference room video conferencing, audio and visual systems •Knowledge of Active Directory user account management and security, including Group Policy administration •Work effectively to troubleshoot and resolve issues over the phone and through remote connectivity software. •Maintain asset and inventory management •Working knowledge of mobile cell phone and voice technology •Manage server backup jobs and performance, as well as backup tape rotations.
