At EY we regularly meet with regulators, legislators and other industry stakeholders seeking not only to better understand their points-of-view and provide our perspective but to also collaborate on key initiatives affecting our industry. Our business is undergoing fundamental change caused by several different forces including technological and environmental change, the shape of the professional services market and by the regulatory reforms affecting the EU audit market.
The EY Public Policy function enhances EY’s brand and reputation globally through focusing on public policy and regulatory issues that affect our business, our profession and the broader capital markets. What we hear from policy makers, regulators, investors and other stakeholders helps inform our views and actions as we navigate the complexity of operating globally in over 150 countries.
The Public Policy function is a small but influential team operating globally.
In EMEIA we are creating EU Public Policy Hub in Brussels (Hub) that we will work more closely with the EU on their policy work; teaming with other EY disciplines including those other EY colleagues who also interact with the EU institutions EU account team, FSO, Tax, etc.
