We are looking for a Project Management Officer to join our team. As a Project Management Officer (PMO), you will play a key role in driving the success of strategic initiatives within the organization. Your expertise in project management will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, with a focus on fostering collaboration, maintaining process standards, and contributing to ongoing digital transformation efforts. This position will allow you to make a significant impact through your leadership and support of essential organizational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. You will support and optimize project execution by assisting project managers and teams in planning, executing, and implementing projects. You`ll strengthen existing project processes and ensure alignment across business, IT, and other departments, coordinating efforts between internal and external teams including operations and IT.
2. You will build a strong project management community by promoting collaboration, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and providing coaching and training on project methodologies. You`ll guide project managers in the effective use of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
3. You will oversee project tracking and reporting by developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that reflect project status, risks, and progress. You`ll gather input from project managers to create structured weekly and monthly updates, while identifying and escalating critical issues to senior management.
4. You will provide structured support to the Project Board by preparing agendas based on stakeholder input, documenting meeting minutes with key decisions and open points, and tracking action items by assigning responsibilities and following up to ensure execution.
5. You will ensure action follow-up and process compliance by monitoring deadlines, addressing delays, and reminding responsible stakeholders of their tasks. You`ll manage and enhance PMO tools and templates, such as risk registers and status reports, and onboard new team members with training on standardized PMO procedures.
6. You will manage project documentation and knowledge by maintaining a centralized, up-to-date project library that includes all relevant reports, decisions, and plans. You`ll ensure that team members have access to the latest information and compile monthly project summaries for senior management.

7. You have demonstrated experience in project management or in a Project Management Office (PMO) role.
8. You have experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, or you have a strong willingness and ability to learn them quickly.
9. You have strong analytical skills that enable you to build effective reports and dashboards.
10. You have excellent communication skills in French and Dutch, and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
11. You have a proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
12. You have excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
13. You have curiosity and an open attitude toward digital tools and technological innovation.

14. You have at least 3-5 of professional experiences in IT
15. If you are at least fluent in FR AND NL
16. You’re eager to learn, motivated and curious
