The client
Our client is a rapidly growing international consultancy firm that provides sustainability expertise to key players in the global real estate sector. They offer guidance and certification across various areas, including water, energy, thermal comfort, waste, and more. Their mission is to accurately quantify sustainable and circular economy solutions, helping to combat greenwashing.
The job
* Provide advice to architects, project developers, and engineers in the design of sustainable buildings.
* Coordinate and oversee sustainability certifications such as BREEAM, WELL, DZMW, etc.; lead your team in conducting energy, comfort, and material assessments (LCC, EPB, daylight and thermal dynamic simulations, LCA, etc.).
* Contribute to the development of large, multidisciplinary projects, managing them autonomously from start to finish (organization, scheduling, budgeting).
* Analyze and integrate various studies related to sustainability and the circular economy, providing comprehensive advice for the project. Act as the client’s primary point of contact (SPOC) and inspire them to push further in their sustainability efforts.
The profile
* A Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on construction, energy, architecture, or equivalent experience.
* A strong desire to make a significant impact on the building sector, with a passion for rapidly expanding your knowledge and sharing expertise with your colleagues.
* At least 2 years of experience in designing sustainable buildings and project management within the construction industry. Expertise in EPB, dynamic simulations, or other related fields, as well as general project management experience, is a strong advantage.
* Excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach, and experience in preparing clear and well-structured reports.
* Fluency in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
