Overview
Waters Clinical Business Unit is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of an Eastern Europe Clinical Senior Distribution Sales Specialist. Responsibilities include driving sales of our full range of products and services including Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography Systems, Mass Spectrometers, Software, Consumables and Services, pertaining to Clinical Business Unit for the Eastern Europe Distributors region.
You should be a self starter in developing and implementing a Territorial Business Plan working collaboratively with the head of the region, marketing colleagues, and local distributors in delivering an aggressive call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of this role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers’ needs and challenges, designing a complete solution with lasting and meaningful business impact to our customers.
Responsibilities
1. Meet or exceed sales targets
2. Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
3. Plan and implement marketing initiatives (product seminars, workshops, conferences) to facilitate high visibility, market share and profitability of the Waters brand through the channel partners
4. Visit customers on a regular basis to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with their challenges
5. Build technical competency on Waters solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource
6. Keep current Clinical and Forensic markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information
7. Provide support and visit end-users accounts along with local distributors in key countries, defined by the head of the region
8. Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
9. Fully utilize of our Sales contact management tools and applications
10. Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
11. Develop business through monthly plans of action
12. Conduct quarterly business reviews and planning sessions with channel partners
13. Prepare and deliver regular pipeline forecast and business reviews
14. Work with channel partners to gather operational data and quality related issues.
Qualifications
15. 5-10 years of relevant experience in global channel sales and sales management with demonstrated record of relationships and results with indirect sales channels
16. Experience as channel sales representative with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quota in contiguous, multiple years
17. Degree BS/Master/PHD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
18. At least 3 years chromatography experience. UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus
19. Action orientation and self-driven for results
20. Good communication and presentation skills
21. Good organization / planning / time management skills
22. Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
23. Adaptive to dynamic and changing environment
