Cefic is looking for a Communications Manager to support Cefic’s Sector Groups within the Public Affairs team
This role is ideal for a strategic communicator who can work autonomously and confidently with our Sector Group Managers and company representatives to propose and implement communication strategies in line with their goals. You will need to be able to develop clear and relevant content, designs and messaging, manage website updates, understand social media channels, and support the roll out events. Experience in media would be an added value.

1. Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement communication strategies tailored to the objectives of the Sector Groups, aligning with Cefic’s broader communication and advocacy goals.
2. Content Development: Create high-quality communication materials, including press releases, position papers, newsletters, website content, social media posts, and presentations.
3. Digital Communications: Oversee the development of digital assets, including website updates, newsletters, infographics, and multimedia content, to support Sector Group initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional who demonstrates the following experience, skills and competencies:
4. Minimum of 5 years in communications, public affairs, media relations, or a related field, preferably in an association, consultancy, or regulated industry.
5. A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute targeted communication plans that support policy and business objectives.
6. Excellent writing skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical or regulatory topics into clear, engaging, and impactful messages for different audiences.
7. Design and multimedia: creation of social media cards, infographics, brochures and videos
8. Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
9. Digital & Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
10. Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a definite asset
