Business Controlling Manager Belux
Your Mission
As a member of the Puratos Belux Management Team, your mission is clear: to ensure the company’s financial performance and long-term sustainable growth. You’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, collaborating closely with other shared departments at the Group level, including accounting, legal, and tax. Your role is not just about numbers; it’s about shaping the future of our business.
What you will do
1. Strategic Collaboration and Motivation
1. Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with the Management Team to achieve financial targets and co-create long-term strategic plans. Your insights will drive our success.
2. Motivate: Inspire your team to excel. As a leader, you’ll guide the local Pricing, Business Control & Credit Control colleagues toward achieving defined objectives.

3. Resource Stewardship: Ensure the effective and efficient use of our company’s financial resources. Safeguard our assets and ensure the effective and efficient use of the company’s resources
4. Proactive Solutions: Identify potential challenges and provide corrective actions. Your recommendations will empower accurate decision-making.

5. Strategic Vision: As part of the NEEU Finance community, contribute to defining macro-objectives. Then, roll up your sleeves to implement them at the local level.

4. Key Deliverables
Business Controlling, Pricing & Credit Control
7. Strategic Insights: Develop financial organizational strategies by analyzing trends, compiling data, and providing recommendations. Align these strategies with our overall objectives.
8. Data Mastery: Organize and manage financial data meticulously. Reliable administration and reporting are essential for our success.
9. Stakeholder Partnership: Challenge internal stakeholders to improve procedures. Optimize asset utilization, manage debtors, and control expenditures.
10. Strategic Advisor: Assist the General Manager with financial and business matters. Your insights will shape critical decisions.
11. Budgeting and Forecasting: Dive into the annual budgeting process. Collaborate with stakeholders, analyze budgets, and prepare insightful reports.
12. Cash Management: Optimize cash flow in coordination with the Group treasury function. Your financial acumen will keep us on track.
13. Pricing Strategies: Influence pricing strategies alongside the Business Control & Pricing Analyst. Protect our margins while ensuring competitive pricing.
14. Chocolate Contract Expertise: Understand the intricacies of our chocolate contract business. Enhance contract management where needed.
15. Alignment with Other Departments: Collaborate with departmental managers to ensure financial strategies align seamlessly with our business objectives.
People Management
16. Lead by Example: As the manager for the local Credit Control & Pricing Team, inspire excellence. Facilitate team processes and appreciate the bigger picture.
17. Talent Development: Identify strengths and opportunities within your team. Connect their contributions to our overall success.
18. Embrace Change: Be a role model for embracing change. Encourage stakeholders to see things differently.
19. Resilience Planning: Cross-train staff to ensure smooth operations even during absences.
What we expect from you
Academic Degree
20. Master’s degree
Experience
21. 3 to 5 years in a similar function with finance experience
22. Demonstrated commercial acumen and digital savviness
Technical Skills
23. Business Acumen: Define and implement a finance strategy aligned with business priorities and goals.
24. Deep Knowledge: Accounting, general accounting, business controlling, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
25. Finance Management: Understand best practices in finance management.
26. Communication: Excellent English writing and communication skills.
27. Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP, BI.
