Job Description
We are looking for a data warehouse architect with strong experience in IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server to lead the migration project of our data warehouse from the former to the latter. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying the new data warehouse architecture, as well as ensuring the quality, performance, and security of the data. You will also collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and provide technical solutions.

Additionally, aligning the local supply chain data strategy with the global vision will leverage the opportunities to solve important business questions.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement the data warehouse architecture, data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.
* Migrate the existing data warehouse from IBM DB2 to Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring the data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
* Optimize the data warehouse performance, scalability, and reliability, using best practices and industry standards.
* Monitor and troubleshoot the data warehouse issues, and provide support and maintenance as needed.
* Document the data warehouse design, development, testing, and deployment processes, and provide training and guidance to other data engineers and users.
* Work closely with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Requirements
* Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in data warehouse architecture, design, development, and migration, using IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and other Microsoft data platform tools and technologies.
* Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, methodologies, and best practices, such as dimensional modeling, data quality, data governance, and data security.
* Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, using tools such as Power BI
* Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
