Tasks
* Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise data infrastructure, models, and lineage, collaborating with business and technical teams.
* Manage data management projects independently, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
* Implement and oversee data management platforms (e.g., data catalogs, quality, hubs) to enhance data control.
* Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects for successful system implementations.
* Assist in transitioning to the new global IT architecture while managing multiple systems.
* Maintain documentation for data infrastructure, models, and standards, adapting to changing requirements.
* Drive continuous data quality improvements.
* Promote data awareness by sharing expertise on data management theories, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in business and data engineering/architecture, with a focus on data migration.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data management, databases, data quality, data governance, and analytics.
* Ability to combine a global, end-to-end understanding of data flows with a solid grasp of business processes.
* Proven expertise in data modeling, data quality tools, SQL, programming languages, and data profiling techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of addressing complex data challenges.
* Experience in working on key data implementation and transformation projects within medium to large global organizations is a plus.
* Strong leadership abilities to drive projects to completion, build consensus, and motivate teams.
* Exceptional communication, people, and stakeholder management skills.
* Capable of working independently and making critical decisions with confidence.
