At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. We produce integrated skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves, combined with our colleagues’ extensive know-how. In cooperation with the Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft.
Additionally, the Space industry is represented in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies.
Mission:
As a General CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating the CNC-controlled machine, the TapeLayer. You will work in a dynamic environment and will be assigned to 2 shifts: morning shift and afternoon shift.
Tasks:
1. Preparing the molds: placing and positioning foil
2. Setting up the machine per component (G, F6X...)
3. Assembling and adjusting rolls
4. Laminating components according to procedure
5. Performing quality controls during the lamination of the components
6. Completing documentation according to procedure
7. Collaborating and assuming responsibilities at your level regarding the EN quality standard and the ISO environmental standard
Profile:
* Several years of experience in a similar position is a plus.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Working with care and methodology.
* Ability to read technical plans.
* Knowledge of measuring techniques.
* Experience with CNC control Siemens D is a plus.
* Willingness to work in 2 shifts: morning shift and afternoon shift.
Certificates:
* An education in CNC is a plus.
