About the Role

Join our dynamic and growing team as a Trade Compliance Specialist and play a key role in supporting global customers with trade compliance and customs topics across multiple industries.

What Youll Do
1. Staying ahead of regulatory changes Monitoring and communicating updates related to trade compliance and customs.
2. Tariff classification & duty optimization Assigning tariff codes to products using the General Rules of Interpretation, and occasionally supporting other regions.
3. Determining duty rates & special measures Identifying applicable duties, additional codes, and any required licenses.
4. Managing regulatory updates Investigating and leading projects to reclassify customer materials when tariff codes change.
5. Import and Export Controls Analyzing customers'' products to determine whether measures apply, and assigning ECCN codes when necessary.
On the job training will be provided, ensuring you gain system expertise and deep product knowledge.
What Were Looking For
1. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year of tariff classification experience.
2. Trade Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of customs regulations, trade compliance terminology, and classification rules.
3. Tech Savvy: Experience with SAP, ERP systems, and strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
