ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? We want you to be a part of our team, from Brussels, as a Enterprise architect. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY TO DAY? Understand the overall customs processes in order to be able to determine the required IT architectural requirements. More explicitly, the relationships between the customs business layer and the IT service layer is of major importance Support projects by designing services and components (or supervising contractors'' design), encouraging re use as well as committing that the design of the system will fulfil Define in close collaboration with the contractors and the systems stakeholders the requirements, particular non functional requirements (volume, scalability, confidentiality, integrity, availability, business continuity and disaster recovery planning) Analyse the integration of different information systems and ensure their interoperability Produce and/or review documents. This includes system and application architecture documents. Discuss and coordinate business aspects of the assigned IT projects with various stakeholders (DG TAXUD business and IT teams, contractors'' teams, COTS providers, Member States'' representatives, etc.). Understanding of the a
