The position
As a Senior Improvement Engineer at Organon Heist, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across our manufacturing site. You will be part of the Heist Quality Leadership Team, contributing to innovative solutions and promoting a culture of Lean management and productivity.

Required Responsibilities:
* Identify, analyze, and prioritize improvement opportunities within the Heist Quality Organization.
* Identify, Lead and implement improvement projects, leveraging Lean tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
* Utilize problem-solving techniques (e.g., fishbone analysis, 8-step) to resolve bottlenecks and optimize processes.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, the Lab, Finance, etc and other specialists to ensure the success of improvement initiatives.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with relevant procedures.
* Provide expertise and guidance to colleagues, ensuring the ongoing development of knowledge and skills within the team.
* Analyze performance data using systems like PowerBI, Excel, and SAP to drive data-informed decision-making.
* Support change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during improvement efforts.
* Lead the annual Hoshin process for objectives, key results and priority setting
Required Education, Experience and Skills
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent by experience.
* Preferably 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Green Belt in Six Sigma or higher is preferred.
* Experience with Lean management and Kaizen is essential.
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement attitude.
* Demonstrated experience in change management and the ability to lead teams through change.
* Proficiency with data systems such as PowerBI, Excel, and SAP.
* A flexible, proactive team player with strong communication skills.
