As a Senior Product Manager – Operational Compliance & Safety within the ICT department, you will manage all ICT products within the domain of Operational Compliance and Safety. You are responsible for the entire product life cycle (Think, design, build, run) from strategic change to operational run. You will work closely with internal clients (Fire Department, Security, Safety, Contingency), your team, ICT partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to continuously improve the functionality of your products and applications, aiming to optimize the company's operations, services, and commercial results.
The ICT department encompasses all ICT services specifically needed to keep the company running. In Operational Compliance & Safety, this includes ICT support for all services ensuring compliance with regulations and keeping the company operational, such as Fire Department, Inspection, Security, and Compliance.
The products you support are used for incident registration, findings, audit results, and alerting the appropriate teams in case of emergencies.
Reporting
In this role, you report directly to the Service Manager (Security, Safety & Compliance Services and Asset Management).
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations Compliance & Safety
* Manage ICT services for products with associated tools.
* Oversee the run using Service Level Agreements and the product life cycle (CMO, Abiware, FrontForce, etc.) respecting release cycle structures and rules.
* Manage the entire budget for the product run.
* Build and maintain customer contacts, respecting clear agreements.
* Monitor and follow up on supplier services.
* Track external market changes and internal developments to identify run improvements.
Strategic Input
* Based on customer needs, product knowledge, market knowledge, and company architecture, provide key stakeholder input for the Service Manager's roadmap.
* Create business cases for your product and underlying solutions.
Vision and Roadmap Implementation
* Implement the vision and roadmap by setting up, delegating, and following up on projects for your products.
* Consider the applicable ICT architecture and always inform or consult the appropriate stakeholders.
People Management and Product Leadership
* Motivate, guide, and lead teams with diverse profiles across multiple departments within and outside the organization.
* Actively promote knowledge building and transfer within your team in related product and business domains.
* Guide user groups for your product with representatives from various business units or companies.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
* Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record.
* Experience in industrial sectors with a strong customer service aspect is an asset.
* Strong knowledge of project, program, and product management.
Skills
* Customer-oriented and able to work smoothly in a team and autonomously.
* Experience with customer contact at all levels, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders both technically and conceptually.
* Persuasive with diplomacy and negotiation skills.
* Organizational talent, result-driven, and analytical.
* Experience in people management.
* Fluent communication in English, French, or Dutch.
