Duties
* Conducts day to day operations for designated schools to provide timely and efficient transportation service.
* Coordinate appropriate transportation for students with special needs.
* Serves as Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for school transportation contracts.
* Prepares documentation to support contract provisions.
* Analyze documentation procedures and techniques with respect to cost, effectiveness, and efficiency.
* Monitors contractor performance and related expenditure of funds.
* Manage policy procedures relative to the organizations transportation program.
* Compile student statistical data for forecasting transportation requirements.
* Conducts student registration and orientation to parents and students.
* Investigate incidents of student misbehavior and recommend consequences.
Requirements
* Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
* Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
* Direct deposit of pay is required.
* One year probationary period may be required.
* Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
* This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
* This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
* Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights.
* Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their family members (who are US citizens) are required to obtain Official Passports prior to departure to the overseas area.
* Valid Driver''s License required.
