Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join their small but dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments. As a System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining development workflows, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless scalability across both cloud-native and on-premises solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop modern cloud platform: Build and maintain a modern cloud platform following DevOps and Platform Engineering principles.
* Migration to public cloud: Support the transition from a private cloud environment to a public cloud offering based on Microsoft Azure.
* Experience and skills: Demonstrable experience in development, coding, testing, debugging, and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
* Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
* Technical expertise: Management of Kubernetes and other container orchestration systems (OpenShift, AKS, EKS) and IT infrastructure via Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).
