Your Work Context Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of submarine structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. Seabed preparation, trench dredging, and their stabilisation and ballasting are part of these offshore services. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables, umbilicals, foundations, platforms or even entire wind farms: always tailored to the customer and, if desired, on an EPC basis. Do you want to be part of our international team? Your Role As project manager you are responsible for an offshore project by organising and supervising the execution of the works. You ensure that they are executed as described in the contract. Together with the engineering team you are responsible for choosing the most economical, safe and successful method to carry out the project. You preside over meetings with clients, authorities and other contractors on site. You are responsible for the site administration, cost controlling and budgeting. You coordinate the project team. In this, you also coach the employees and you are responsible for their development and evaluation. You communicate with clients and third parties on a daily basis. During the works, you report to the head office every day. You have the final responsibility for compliance with the legal regulations regarding safety, environment and quality on site. You plan the deployment of personnel, vessels, auxiliary equipment and subcontractors. What do you need to have? You have an engineering degree and at least 10 years'' experience in the sector. You are a born leader and very persuasive. You''re great at planning and organising, always bearing in mind the client''s wishes and needs. You speak and write fluent English.
