Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our SME sales team and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and optimizing the telesales channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective SME sales strategies, building and nurturing relationships with channel partners, and ensuring the attainment of sales targets. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills.
Key responsabilities :
1.strategy development & implementation
Develop and execute a comprehensive SME sales strategy aligned with the company's overall sales and business objectives. Identify and prioritize potential channel partners, distribution networks, and strategic alliances to expand market reach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of indirect sales efforts with marketing, product, and operations.
2. Channel partner management
Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and resellers to enhance the company's market presence. Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing the necessary support and resources to drive their success. Regularly assess partner performance and provide guidance to improve their sales capabilities and performance metrics.
3. Sales Performance and Metrics
Set clear sales targets and objectives for the telesales team and channel partners, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions when necessary. Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the indirect sales channel. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and market insights to senior management.
4. Market and competitive analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities. Utilize market insights to adjust the indirect sales strategy, pricing, and positioning as needed.
5. Cross-functional collaboration
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and operations to ensure alignment and effective execution of campaigns and initiatives. Act as a liaison between channel partners and internal departments, addressing any issues, inquiries, or concerns.
6. Sales team leadership and management
Lead and manage a team of indirect sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster their growth and success. Lead and manage 2 teamleaders each managing a team of inside sales
Qualifications and skills :
1. Bachelor's degree (master’s degree preferred).
2. Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in indirect sales management, channel partner development, or distributor management.
3. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams or partner networks.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
6. Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
7. Strategic thinker capable of aligning sales initiatives with broader business goals.
8. Ability to travel periodically to meet with channel partners, attend industry events, and engage in business development activities.
