IT Security Governance Consultant - NIS2 Project
Homeworking: Half-time remote
Location: Brussels Central
Duration: End of 2025+
Project Context
As part of the implementation of the NIS2 directive with the support of an external partner, significant progress has already been made, particularly regarding technical documentation. A first version of the documents has been produced, along with a file tree structure.
To date, around 40 deliverables have been created, comprising raw information and annexes. The goal is to structure these deliverables and prepare an initial set of documents for delivery by June.

2. Conduct business interviews if needed to gather additional information.
3. Develop a process for maintaining and improving the documentation after the first version.

2. Post-June: Work on a second version with improved quality while establishing processes for continuous maintenance and improvement.
Technical Context
The documentation includes technical files, such as JSON files, which link use cases (e.g., a detection tool) to diagrams. These use cases cover various attack scenarios.
Consultant Requirements
1. Perform reverse engineering (to be detailed).
2. Identify and explain the risks monitored by each use case.
3. Propose solutions to optimize risk monitoring and control.
Desired Profile
1. Experience: Expertise in projects related to the NIS2 directive is a significant asset. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and certifications is essential.
2. Skills: Experience in IT governance, document structuring, conducting business interviews, and cyber risk management.
3. Seniority: A senior consultant is sought to accelerate the process and ensure rapid results.
Mission Details
1. Duration: Until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.
