TO DO
As a People & Payroll Officer, you are a vital link in the human and administrative follow-up of our colleagues. From onboarding to payroll, from managing time registration to organizing events. Your role is versatile and crucial for the smooth operation of the Human Capital Team. In this position, you report to the Payroll & Total Rewards Specialist.
1. Payroll: You ensure an accurate payroll for our blue-collars in collaboration with our payroll provider, SD Worx. From tracking time registration to processing salary advances and payroll payments, you also handle weekly time tracking of temporary workers.
2. Absences: You process sick leave and absence certificates, interpreting the law while working closely with the Group Leader to understand the story behind the certificates.
3. First Point of Contact: You are the trusted face – the go-to person – of the Human Capital department for all HC-related questions from our blue-collars.
4. Paperwork Expert: You work closely with the HC Business Partner on requests for thematic leave, time credits, contract changes, and evaluations.
5. Onboarding: When welcoming new colleagues, you ensure all paperwork and formalities are completed, including filling out documents, insurance, and badges.
6. Medical Examinations: In collaboration with the external medical service, you coordinate annual flu vaccinations and periodic medical exams, helping ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
7. Events & Thoughtful Gestures: You assist in organizing events and special occasions – celebrating is in Neuhaus’ DNA, and you ensure no one is left out!
TO BE
8. You hold at least a Bachelor's degree and can already look back on your first experience in a Human Capital environment. Previous experience in Payroll is clearly a plus.
9. You work precisely and meticulously, as people’s salaries go through your hands.
10. Digital MS Office tools hold no secrets for you. If you have already worked with eBlox and ProTime, that’s a great advantage, but it’s not essential.
11. At Human Capital, we pride ourselves on helping our employees in their native language. Therefore, a good command of Dutch and French is important.
12. You are familiar with the basics of Belgian social legislation. If there's something you don’t know, you feel the urge to look it up and dive into it.
TO OFFER
When you grow, we grow. We offer you an inspiring environment full of challenges, where people are given the space and opportunities to excel. In addition, we provide a permanent contract and a competitive salary, complemented by various extra benefits. And, of course, plenty of Belgian chocolates!
