Our organization, a rapidly growing leader in the exhibition’s entertainment, is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced and organized professional for the role of Production Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead the end-to-end production process for exhibitions and events concerts and music festivals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, fabrication, and installation of the exhibition. This role requires strong project management skills, a keen eye for design and detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Programme and Project Management
* Assist the Chief Production Officer with the pre-production management of a range of exhibition/tour projects as part of the Exhibitions Project Plan
* Coordinate and manage the construction and installation phases of exhibition projects liaising with Project Managers and other project contributors
* Prepare logistics and technical production plans and manage the production team
* Lead on project production meetings, monitor and manage install programmes, flag any deviations or programme delays
* Ensure that project progress is reported effectively to the Chief Production Officer and the Senior / Project Manager involved in the project and contributors across EH as required
* Liaise with Chief Production Officer in supporting the preparation of project tech documentations, permitting documentation, project initiation documents, schedules and budgets
* Prepare and analyse tenders in line with procurement procedures as required; manage tenders and contracts for a range of external consultants and contractors, e.g. as part of the maintenance programme or for other subcontractors
* Manage contractors on site, schedule their work and chair site meetings.
* Ensure procurement of items required for production and ensure the logistics requirements are delivered in time
Requirements
Knowledge and experience (3+ years) of installing / dismantling exhibitions, touring shows, Festivals, construction and development of job site, knowledge of audio lights and video setup and installation
Experience in project management ideally within the exhibition and show business industry
Experience of managing a team as well as recruiting, developing and
managing employees / casual staff
Experience of understanding plans & technical specifications, and working
with artists, curators and architects and advising on issues related to
design, build and budget
Experience of tendering and procurement and securing best value
Experience in managing maintenance planning and interventions
A broad understanding of new developments and best practice in the
Exhibition industry as it pertains to exhibition installation/dismantling, equipment maintenance and logistics management
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities
Experience negotiating vendor contracts
Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
Availability of travelling most part of the year all over the world to follow on site the installation/Deinstallation and preparation of the project
Language knowledge : good level of english speaking and writing.
Computer literate, with a good knowledge of, Excel, Word, Autocad, Sketchup and project management tools
