The Financial Markets domain is characterized by a broad spectrum of products for hedging different types of risks (interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity, and equity). In addition to hedging products, the dealing room also offers equity-related investment products and employee benefits (employee stock option plans) to retail, private banking, and corporate banking clients. To support the product offering, there is a wide landscape of systems and processes that are constantly evolving, creating many opportunities for challenging projects.
Financial Markets is organized as a Group Wide Product Provider with dealing rooms in Brussels, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, and Sofia supporting local sales business. The trading activity is centralized in KBC Brussels books.
Product, Process Management and End User Computing (EUC) is part of the IT and Business Support department alongside BiiO Markets. The product and process management team consists of 7 highly motivated colleagues always prepared to go the extra mile to support and help each other. The EUC team (6 colleagues) is headed by Steven De Meyer.
What do we expect from you?
* Product and process management for Bonds, Employee Stock Option plans (ESOPS), derivatives, and equity-related products
* Product ownership for CRM, legal database, and business dashboard applications in the Markets context
* Competence center with respect to a number of regulations in the Financial Markets area (EMIR, Priips, CRS, Fatca, SRB, …)
* Project management
* End User Computing: creating commercial, operational & management information, automation of processes (SAS Studio, QlikSense, UIPath/RPA, Web2Py, MS Access VBA)

A first assignment will be in the ESOP business line. An Employee Stock Option Plan is a fiscally friendly employee benefit supporting employers in attracting and retaining the best employees. ESOP plans can be submitted via the KBC Business Dashboard by the employer and are offered to beneficiaries via a dedicated e-channel. As a process manager/product owner, you will have the opportunity to further develop the business line and be involved in the E2E process, which interacts with many stakeholders (Corporate Banking, Corporate sales team, Equity desk in London, PIPD, Back Office & Middle Office Markets, BiiO Markets, Legal, Tax, Compliance, ...).
